About the study

The SPARKLE clinical study investigates the safety and efficacy of a novel diagnostic drug, Mangoral, in development for MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging).

What is a Clinical Study? A clinical trial is a research study that looks at how well an investigational treatment works in people.  This is called “efficacy.”  The study treatment may be a drug, medical procedure, medical device, or even a lifestyle change.

How to participate in Sparkle

Individuals can participate in the trial if they accept and meet the SPARKLE clinical study requirements.
Some of the key inclusion criteria are:

  • Have known focal liver lesions, or a physician might have expressed specific suspicion for that
  • Have laboratory-confirmed severe renal impairment or acute kidney injury
